The Host

Rated: PG-13 (some sensuality and violence)
This anticipated film was not all it was thought up to be. I think this is a rebox film, and you should wait to pay only one dollar. Don't waste your money. This film had VERY little action, and when it did, it was bloody ( for example: woman shot and blood sprays). The movie was really long, and I almost fell asleep during it. Hardly any kissing scenes, the strongest, not longest, being about 5 seconds long. The movie starts with Melane Strider jumping out of a window, in a suicide attempt. From that point, the movie progresses, with flash backs just about every ten minutes. It was very boring, and not thought up well. I say this is okay for ages 13 and up. 5 of 10*s

Beautiful Creatures

Rated: PG-13 for violence, scary images and some sexual material

.

The language at the beginning of this film was constant and strong, and the movie was just way too long and boring, and the darkness of the film was too much. None of the six of us enjoyed it! I cant believe it was so unlike the trailer, which makes the film awful. I thought it would be the new twilight- it turned out to be super boring! I don't recommend this witch "romance"- (strong) to anyone, even fans of the books. *4 of 10 thumbs up*

The Impossible NEW TRAILER 2012 HD

The Impossible

Rated: PG-13 for intense realistic disaster sequences, including disturbing injury images, and brief nudity

This true story, is way different then what is seen on the trailer. in the tsunami, bodies are thrown and thrashed, dead things are shown, the mothers leg is ripped open, and people are struggling to breathe. Then another huge wave comes, and people are hit by debris, the mother hits a tree branch, causing the branch to go into her stomach, and her son's face is scratched up. This is more so emotional than Les Miserables, and more gory than any film I've seen! Dead animals, such as dogs and elephants lay dead. This family's survival is very emotional and uplifting. Though there is some brief nudity, twice, after a woman's shirt is ripped open by the branch, and is unexpected. The ending may be known as happy, but the fact of people who died stays with you, and takes from the happy ending. People of any  language or race end up helping each other, even a 3 year old from a different family pats the mothers head after she is injured. This film is sure to make anyone and everyone cry and everyone will be tuched by the theme of this film.

i think this film is Okay for ages 14 and up, because of the blood and mature tsumami scenes.
