When a family moves from Los Angeles, California, United States of America to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the family goes broke and tries their hardest for Christmas presents. At the "West Edmonton Mall" (the largest mall in North America, and fifth largest in the world.) Mary Saunders (the youngest child in the family) sits on santa's lap at the mall and asks for a million dollars, because her familys broke. When Mary and her older brother, Brian, go ice skating and from the air falls a purse with lots of money (fake money) and think it's real. Will they ever find out were the money came from and will they get in trouble for using it?
