An ogre named Shrek must rescue a princess named Fiona so he can get his swamp back from the evil Lord Farquaad. Lord Farquaad wants Fiona so he can become king. So, Shrek agrees to rescue her with his "Noble Steed" named Donkey, but along the way to give Fiona to the evil lord, Shrek finds love in Fiona, and she finds love in him.
Will Fiona and Shrek ever be together?
